JB Series Spherical Bearings
The INOVA JB series spherical bearings are ideal connection components for dynamic testing when paired with our AH or AG series servo-hydraulic actuators. Featuring a backlash-free design, excellent adjustability, and an advanced polyamide coating, they deliver unmatched reliability and long service life across any test application.
The JB series spherical joints are designed for easy specimen rotation, allowing ±20° of movement around each axis. Load capacities range from 5 kN to 2,000 kN. In addition to our standard product lineup, INOVA offers custom versions tailored to your specific requirements.
Special Edition
The JB series features universal ball joints designed for standard applications. Special versions are also available to meet more demanding requirements.
The JBFR series is designed for demanding applications involving high loads combined with torsion and acceleration. Its spherical balls and pins are manufactured as a single unit to deliver higher load capacity, though it features a smaller angular misalignment compared to standard JB ball joints.
Other available special versions include semi-static and fully static joints, as well as joints designed for harsh environments such as saltwater applications.
JBS Series Compact Ball
The JBS product line features spherical joints designed for force chains, ideal for applications requiring angular compensation or non-linear motion between two components. Nominal angles are available in ±8° or ±30°, offering backlash-free operation, extremely low friction, long service life, and adjustable preload options. INOVA JBS spherical joints support nominal loads from 25 kN to 1,000 kN.
JC Series Universal Joint
The INOVA JC series universal joint is designed for non-axial force chains. Typically installed in pairs—the first on the lower flange of the hydraulic actuator and the second on the piston rod—it offers up to 8° of angular deflection in all directions, operates without backlash, and delivers a long service life. The JC universal joint nominal load capacity ranges from 25 kN to 1,000 kN.
Special Edition
For demanding applications requiring high-frequency or small-displacement motion, all JC universal joints are available with hydrostatic bearings as an alternative to needle roller bearings.
